Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Japanese information and communications technology company Fujitsu has announced that it will create 200 jobs at its new global delivery centre in Katowice within the coming months. Fujitsu is looking for employees to join teams in four business lines: R&D and Business Application Services, Remote Infrastructure Management, Service Desk and Service Management. The company has just leased a new office space in the city. Fujitsu’s GDC in Poland is a part of a network of eight global delivery centres worldwide supporting customers in more than 100 countries. Fujitsu is the leading Japanese ICT company employing approximately 155,000 people worldwide. Currently, the company has two global delivery centres in Poland (Łódź and Katowice).
