Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Japanese glass producer Pilkington IGP, has announced that it will create 200 jobs at its new factory in Białystok. The factory is expected to be operational by the end of August 2018, and will be equipped with four double glazing lines as well as glass-cutting systems. It will be constructed by Panattoni and will have an area of over 10,000 m2. Pilkington is expecting to invest more in Poland in the future.
Pilkington Automotive belongs to NSG Group, which has been operating in Poland since 1993. The company has production facilities in Kraków, Skierniewice, Białystok, Wrocław, Bydgoszcz, Ostrołęka and Szczecin. The company is specialised in the production of toughened glass, enameled glass and screen printed glass.
