Description
Aircraft maintenance and repair firm PWA Interational is reported to have laid off 107 workers in recent weeks at its Dublin facility. The company initiated a 30-day consultation process with trade union SIPTU on the future of the plant. PWA is a subsidiary of Pratt and Whitney. The case was subsequently the basis of a European Globalisation Fund intervention.
