Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Computer chip manufacturer DecaWave is creating 100 new jobs after raising €30m in funding.
The new roles are in engineering, R&D, sales and marketing and applications.
The company currently employs 50 people in Ireland, and employs people in the US, China, France and South Korea.
DecaWave was founded in Ireland in 2007. Its products are used in advanced analytics for factory automation, logistics and hospitals, as well as car access communication.
