Finnish car manufacturer Valmet Automotive is hiring 1,000 new employees to its factory in Uusikaupunki. The recruitment campaign is going to start in the spring 2018. The company will be looking for production managers, and later for production workers for the entire production line, including welding, painting and assembly. The recruitment is due to the forthcoming production of the new Mercedes-Benz A-series.
The Uusikaupunki factory has been growing rapidly in the past two years. In 2017 alone, the number of employees increased by 2,200. See recruitment announcements in November 2016, March 2017 and June 2017.
