Description
Herz, a manufacturer of valves and sanitary fittings from Šmartno pri Litiji, is building a new production hall in Šmartno and plans to employ 100 new workers by September 2018. Herz from Šmartno is a part of the Austrian multinational company Herz which decided to expand the production facilities in Slovenia by 50%. In addition to the expansion of its production, the company is developing some products of a higher price range, the sanitary kitchen mixers as well as heating and cooling regulating systems. Most of their products are sold under their old brand names Unitas and Kovina in ex-Yugoslav countries. Herz currently employs 267 workers.
