Food manufacturer 2 Sisters Food Group has announced plans to create 136 new jobs at the company's site in Derby. The Derby factory, which currently employs around 500 people, produces cooked chicken products and has recently gone a significant upgrade. The new jobs will assist the site expand its productivity. The new jobs will help to fulfil a new contract signed by 2 Sisters with an unnamed major retailer. There is no information as to when these jobs are expected to be filled, though the company has commented that it is working with a local college as well as with the employment service to help fill the positions.
