Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Continental Automotive France, automotive suppliers, has announced the recruitment of 200-250 employees on permanent employment contracts and 150-200 employees through apprenticeship contracts or professionalisation contracts in 2018 at its Toulouse sites. About 150 permanent positions will be created in the activities of R&D (electronic, hardware, software) and 50 in the division Continental Digital Service France in R&D and sales/business development where 150 people, recruited in 2017, are already employed. The total recruitments will be between 350 and 450 for a total workforce of around 2,000 employees including 1,300 in R&D activities.
