Plumbing and heating wholesaler Wolseley has announced the latest stage of its planned restructure. The move is part of a longer term restructure announced in 2016 which will see the loss of 800 jobs and the closure of 80 branches. The latest plans will see the loss of 170 jobs from the distribution centre and a further 100 administration jobs from the headquarters, both of which are located in Leamington Spa. 350 remaining LeamingtonĀ based employees would then be moved to a new premises within the town. The plans are subject to the statutory consultation procedures which are reportedly already underway.
