Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Hungarian-owned Inter Traction Electrics Kft. opened its new education, research and development centre in Debrecen, Hajdú-Bihar county which will create 250-300 new jobs.
The inauguration was held in conjunction with the unveiling of the 'Reform 500' bus model, developed by the company in cooperation with Daimler-owned EvoBus.
The new Debrecen facility is part of a EUR 70 million (HUF 21.65 billion) investment, and the soon-to-be constructed 150,000 square metres production plant, projected to manufacture 1,000 buses annually, will employ a further 800 people.
