Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The catamaran builder Fountaine Pajot has announced the recruitment of between 120 to 150 employees in 2018. The group achieved a turnover up of 12% in 2016/2017 while its net profit rose by 4.5%. In three years, its turnover increased by nearly 60%, from € 49.6 million in 2013/2014 to nearly € 80 million this year. To support the expected growth, the manufacturer confirms its recruitment and training plan for 120 to 150 new employees. Recruitment figures are similar to that of its competitor CNB-Lagoon.
