Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The multinational assurance and consulting company EY plans to recruit 600 new employees in Sweden in 2018. Some 60% of the recruited will be new graduates. The recruitment need follows from sectoral developments especially regarding digitalisation, automatisation and robotisation. EY also reports to be growing in fields such as strategy, operational improvements and transactions. In addition to the standard economist profiles, the company is looking for engineers and other technology experts. EY reports to have recruited another 600 new employees already during 2017.
