Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Brazilian IT services company Stefanini has announced that it will create 100 jobs at its new IT services centre in Opole by the end of 2018. The unit will provide services mainly in German and Czech languages.
Founded in 1987 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Stefanini provides its services (e.g. IT managed services, systems integrations, consulting and strategic staffing) in 35 languages to industries such as financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, chemical, technology, public sector and utilities. The company employs over 22,000 employees in 39 countries across the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
