Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German global automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG will hire 150 persons at Cristian plant (Brasov County) by the end of 2018. The company is planning to invest €39 million into constructing two new productions halls. The two new halls will support logistics and the development and research units. In 2012, the company inaugurated its own engineering centre in Cristian.
Schaeffler entered the Romanian market in 2006 and has 4,400 employees at the Cristian plant.
Globally, the company has 84,000 employees.
