Description
French retail chain of sport products Decathlon has announced that it will create 200 jobs at its new logistics centre in Ștefăneștii de Jos (Ilfov County), by the end of 2018. The centre has been operational since November 2017 and counts 200 employees. With a surface of 29,000 square metres, the centre is Decathlon's first logistic hub in Romania. The unit will supply articles to stores in Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.
As of 2017, the company has 20 stores in Romania, which number will grow to 22 stores by the end of 2018.
Decathlon, headquartered in Villeneuve d'Ascq (France), has 120,000 employees worldwide.
