Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Swedish provider of power solutions REAC has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at its production facility in Nowy Kisielin (Lubuski Industrial and Technology Park, Poland) and the recruitment process has just been started. The company is looking for locksmiths, cutters, CNC machine operators and production staff. The company declares that it will create positions for female workers, employees over 50 years of age as well as employees with disabilities.
REAC was founded in 1915 in Sweden. The company provides power solutions such as electrical actuators, lift and tilt systems, control boxes and hand controls. REAC has three factories which are located in Åmål, Sweden, Piotrków, Poland and Jasień, Poland.
