German automotive company BMW has announced that it will create between 300 and 400 jobs at its new logistics centre in Świecko (Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, Poland). A warehouse with a space of over 32,000 sq m is currently being built by Goodman, and it is expected to be operational in April 2018. The facility will be a logistics centre for spare parts to serve the Polish and East-German market. BMW has had its logistics operations in Świecko since 2007. Currently, the company plans to relocate and expand its spare parts business into the new unit.
