European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Danish producer of toys, Lego, announced 31 October 2017 that 470 employees, mainly administrative staff, will be made redundant in the near weeks. The reason is a significant fall in sales worldwide, in particular of the well-known Star Wars figures. Already in September Lego announced that a large number of employees would be dismissed in the near future.
