Description
Kolonial.no, Norway's largest online supermarket, will lay off at least 100 employees, most of whom currently work at Kolonial.no's warehouse in Lørenskog. The company has experienced rapid growth, but has posted large net losses. The restructuring is reportedly a result of increased warehouse and logistics efficiency (resulting from various process improvements, not automation), in combination with a somewhat slower growth than expected. Investors have pushed for measures to improve the net results of the company.
