Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Estonian-capital company Rifas, which is engaged in the production of control and process automation cabinets and other electrical equipment, is expanding its activities in Lithuania and is to create 100 new jobs in Panevezys. Currently the company employs 117 employees.
The company's core business is the manufacture and sale of electrical control and distribution units, and the design and installation of industrial automation equipment. Most of the production is exported to foreign markets (Norway, Finland, Austria, etc.).
