Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
UK-based market research company IHS Markit has announced it will create 100 new jobs at its office in Gdańsk. The company has just moved into new office with a space of 3,000 m2. The company was founded in 2016 by merging IHS and Markit. IHS Markit provides information and analysis to support the decision-making process of businesses and governments in industries such as aerospace, defence and security, automotive, chemical, energy, maritime, trade and technology. Globally,the company employs more than 5,000 analysts, data scientists, financial experts and industry specialists. The company has been operating in Poland since 1997; currently, the company employs 200 specialists in the country.
