Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 13th October 2017, Polish furniture producer Agata opened a new retail site in Rumia, Poland. The site will create over 100 new jobs. Agata has also revealed that it plans to open at least three new stores per year within next three years. The company was founded as Bytomskie Fabryki Mebli (a national furniture company) in 1952; currently, Agata has 23 big-box retail stores in 20 cities across the country. The company offers a wide variety of furniture and interior design accessories.
