Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The French subsidiary of the Canadian group CGI (72,000 employees worldwide) intends to strengthen its workforce in France: CGI group will recruit 2,500 people on permanent employment contracts in 2018. Out of this total figure, about 600 will be recruited on permanent employment contract after their traineeship while 100 positions will be created in Toulouse for engineers and ICT specialists. The company highlighted that they need competencies to manage the digitalisation process of their clients.
Additional recruitments have been recorded on the ERM database in September 2017 (250 positions), in January 2017 (1,800 recruitments announced for 2017), July 2016 (100 positions), in February 2016 (170 positions), in June 2015 (200 positions) and in April 2015 (300 positions).
