Leeds based Alno, a supplier of fitted kitchens, has entered administration and 160 redundancy notices have been issued. The company traded from more than 50 UK sites with a permanent workforce of 171. The company's German parent company had entered administration in July 2017, and while the UK business was not part of that process, it nevertheless made the UK trading environment more challenging, leading to concerns about the firm's ability to meet orders. It is unclear as to what will happen to the business, with administrators reportedly considering options for the business and its remaining assets.
