Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The aeronautical maintenance company New EAS, owned by the group Enhance Aéro since July 2017, has announced the recruitment of 100 workers in the next 12 months. The new hires will be technicians specialised in aircraft maintenance. The new owner expects to double the current turnover of €18 million in the next two years: in additiont to the maintenance of two engines and regional jets maintenance, the company will also target the maintenance market for medium and long haul aircrafts. The company is currently refusing slots for customers as it doesn't have enough workforce.
