Description
According to a collective agreement signed in January 2017 (called "Cap 2021") which agreed the non-replacement of a hundred retirements within five years, the tyre manufacturer Michelin has announced that it will invest about €22 million in its Vannes plant to modernise the factory and to raise its competitiveness. The site has received state of the art machinery from the former Italian factory based in Fossano that was closed in 2016. The plant manufactures metallic structures used inside tyres.
