Description
Dairy processing co-operative Lakeland Dairies aims to create 85 new jobs by the end of 2019 at its milk drying site in Bailieborough, Co Cavan. The company has recently opened a €40 million site expansion; it is one of the largest plants of its kind in Europe. The increased production capacity will allow the co-op ensure its future competitiveness.
Lakeland Dairies employs around 800 people and processes 1.2 billion litres of milk every year.
