Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish provider of internal transport systems Europa Systems announced it will create 200 jobs at its new R&D centre in Żabów near Szczecin. The company is looking for engineers who will work on innovative intra-logistics projects. The centre received a public support from the Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju (NCBiR, National Research and Development Fund), with the R&D projects value at PLN 13 million (EUR 3.06 million USD 3.61million), out of which NCBiR funded PLN 5 million (EUR 1.17 million USD 1.38 million). Europa Systems specialises in design and production of dedicated internal transport systems and equipment.
