Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Romanian software solutions and services provider, NTT DATA, will create 150 new jobs by the end of 2017. The company has rented new space for its head offices in Bucharest and the plan is to expand the workforce to reach 1,600 employees by the end of 2017.
Currently, the company has 1,450 employees in Romania.
NTT DATA, formerly known as EBS Romania, was founded in 1998 in Cluj-Napoca and has been part of Japanese group Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) since 2013. The company has centres in Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Brasov, Timisoara, Bucharest and Iasi.
Last year, the company advertised for 200 new jobs.
