Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Recruitment agency Frank Recruitment Group has announced plans to create 150 new jobs in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The business already employs 300 people, but has announced its intention to create 150 new jobs when it moves across Newcastle into larger premises. The company specialises in placing applicants into freelance and permanent specialist technology roles and has been operating in the city since 2007. The announcement confirmed that the jobs will be filled before the end of the company's financial year in November 2017.
