Description

Redring Xpelair Group has announced plans to cut 150 jobs from its operations in Peterborough. The company which manufactures ventilation systems employs 190 at the site in manufacturing, warehousing and office functions. It is expected that the manufacturing will relocate to Ireland and the warehousing and distribution will move to Burnley in the North West. The proposals will see the Peterborough site close in January 2018. A formal consultation between management and trade union representatives was announced when the plans were revealed.
