Description
The Department for Communities (DFC) in Northern Ireland has announced plans to create 125 new jobs at its site at the Lisahally Service Centre near Derry / Londonderry. The jobs follow the award of a GBP 7 million (€7.8 million) contract by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to deliver the new Universal Credit service to claimants in the other countries of the UK. The initial contract will run for two years and is the latest in a series of contracts which have been let to DFC by DWP. It has not been reported when the jobs will be filled.
