Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
In 2017, the Hungarian oil company MOL is offering 175 jobs through its international graduate programme GROWWW which started in 2007. Jobs are available in nine countries: Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. The objective of the programme is to employ professionals from different disciplines such as IT, engineering, life sciences and economic sectors. The application deadline for the GROWWW programme was 7 April 2017 and for the first time MOL is using the new communication tool Messenger Bot on Facebook. The programme lasts 12 months, after which most professionals will be offered positions within the company.
