Description
Polish producer of soft drinks Hoop Poland, a subsidiary of a Czech group Kofola, has announced it will shut down its factory in Grodzisk Wielkopolski and implement a collective dismissal programme affecting 136 jobs at the site by the end of 2017. The company plans to relocate the production from Grodzisk Wielkopolski to another one of its plants in Kutno, Poland.
Hoop Polska was founded in 1992. Currently, the company is a part of Kofola ČeskoSlovensko Group, a one of the largest producer of soft drinks in Central Europe. In Poland, the company has three production plants (Kutno, Bielsk Podlaski and Grodzisk Wielkopolski) and employs an estimated 520 people nation-wide.
