Description
The BBC has announced plans to create 200 new jobs at its media centre in Salford. The jobs in the corporation's digital services will involve building apps, games and websites for its sport, education and children's services. The new roles will include engineers, designers and managers. Following the opening of the northern base in 2011, the BBC now employs 3,000 workers in Salford as the site continues to expand. The timeframe for the creation of these latest jobs has not yet been announced.
