Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Aberdeen based oil and gas services company BilfingerĀ Salamis UK (BSUK) has announced plans to create up to 300 new jobs. The jobs follow BSUK'sĀ securing of a contract with Danish oil company Maersk to work on the Culzean gas field. The work will be related to preparation and installation of the gas platform. The work is expected to last around eight or nine months, and will cover the onshore preparation and installation of the platform before it is sailed into place in 2018. Production is expected to begin from the platform in 2019.
