Description
Vard, a shipyard company, will hire 300 persons from Vietnam to work as welders and toolmakers at the company's site in Tulcea, Romania. The decision to hire Vietnamese workers is attributed to a shortage of specialised workers in Romania.
As of June 2017, Vard employed approximately 3,000 people at its shipyard in Tulcea and an estimated 9,000 people worldwide.
