Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish clothing retailer LPP has announced that it will create 1,000 new jobs by the end of 2018. The company is looking for IT specialists, designers and sale staff. The source also reported the company plans to increase the production of clothes in Poland by 50%, up to 5 million pieces by the end of 2017.
LPP was founded in 1995 and currently owns 5 clothing brands (Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito, Sinsay) and has over 1,700 stores in 18 countries, including Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Egypt.
