Description
On 31 May 2017, the German airliner Air Berlin announced to create some 100 jobs at its subsidiary Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW) within the next weeks. The newly created positions will be for LGW cabin and cockpit crew members. At the moment, about 370 employees are working at LGW. LGW has operated its 20 planes under the Air Berlin logo for several years, as Air Berlin has leased them complete with crew. However, recently Air Berlin took over LGW and is aiming to integrate its subsidiary.
