Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The IT consultancy company Helpline has announced plans to create 100 jobs at its new site in Nantes by 2017, that will be opened in June. The group has already four sites in France – Angers, Marcq-en-Barœul (see where 140 people were recruited in 2015-2016) Nanterre, Ivry-sur-Seine – and two sites in Tunisia and Romania. It has about 2,500 employees worldwide. The group will recruit engineers, technicians, project managers and consultants. Its main activities are service desk, administration and supervision centre, packaging/mastering of working position platform, logistics centre and IT consultancy.
