European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Satakunta Educational Federation (Sataedu) has initiated employer-employee negotiations aiming to cut up to 35 positions. The redundancies are due to diminishing funding for vocational education; funding has dropped by 14% since 2016. Currently the Satakunta Educational Federation has a budget deficit of nearly €1 million and between €2.3-€2.8 million needs to be saved in order to balance the 2017-2018 budget. The redundancies will be executed through layoffs, part-time adjustments and terminations. Negotiations will be completed after the summer in August-September 2017.
