Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has announced that it will open air base at the airport in Poznań with an investment of USD 100 million (EUR 90.92 million) and create 375 jobs. In winter 2017, the company will launch seven new routes from Poznań, including Athens in Greece, Israeli cities of Ejlat and Tel Aviv as well as Builund in Denmark and Olso in Norway. As a result of the extended offer, Poznań aiport will gain 500 thousands additional passengers. Ryanair has been operating in Poland since 2005.
