German producer of automotive accessories Hengst Automotive has announced that it will create 130 jobs at its new production facility in Gogolin (Katowice Special Economic Zone, Poland). The factory is expected to be operational in late 2017, and the company plans to invest PLN 66 million (EUR 15.75 million USD 17.6 million) in the project.
The company specialises in the production of fluid management systems, crankcase ventilation systems as well as filter systems for oil, fuel, air and cabin air filtration. Hengst Automotive was founded in 1958. Currently, the company has 15 factories in Germany, Brazil, China, India, Singapore and the USA and employs about 3,000 people.
