Description

North East based furniture manufacturer Hobart Rose has announced that it had to close, following the loss of a key contract. The business owners were unable to raise alternative funding in order to keep the business running. The brand which was owned by Fuda International Trading Company supplied furniture to major high street names including Next and John Lewis as well as operating an outlet shop. As a result of the decision to cease trading, the entire workforce of 122 has been made redundant with immediate effect.
