Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French electronics company Lacroix Electronics has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at its production facility in Kwidzyń. In the next few months, the company will build its third production hall in the city; the unit will be located in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, Poland. The company will hire mainly production staff.
Lacroix Electronics provides its products to clients operating in civil avionics and defence, automotive industry, home and building automation as well as healthcare. The company has its production facilities in France, Germany, Tunisia and Poland. The company has been operating in Kwidzyń, Poland, since 1999. Currently, the company employs 1,400 people in the city.
