The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Insurance company Towergate has announced that it is to cut 133 jobs from its operations. The losses will be split equally between the headquarters in Maidstone, Kent and the site based at Leeds Airport West. The company has announced that there will be a 60 day consultation period, which comprises the statutory period of 45 days, plus a further 15 days of individual meetings. The timetable for the job losses will be confirmed through the consultation process. In January 2017 the company announced cuts from its offices based in Manchester. Towergate employs 4,225 staff working from more than 100 offices across the UK.
