Description
Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DRSL) the company responsible for decommissioning the nuclear site at Caithness has announced that it expects to cut 150 jobs over an approximate twelve month period. The jobs are being lost due to a number of projects being completed. As well as the 150 jobs on the site, a further 50 jobs are expected to be lost from the supply chain. The company has said that it expects that the reductions will be achieved through a voluntary redundancy scheme which has been opened. Work at the site is expected to continue until 2029.
