Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Korean manufacturer of optical components SEKONIX Poland has announced the creation of 100 jobs at its newly opened factory in Żory (Katowice Special Economic Zone, Poland). In total, the company plans to create 190 jobs at the factory. The investment is worth PLN 62 million (EUR 14.76 million, USD 16.18 million).
SEKONIX produces optical components (e.g. cameras, lenses. LED modules) for the automotive industry.
The factory in Żory supplies optical modules for Tuscon and Sportage models to Hyundai Mobis and other manufactures.
