Description
Hungarian-owned Tisza-TK Projekt Kft. is building a new cereal processing plant near Szolnok in Tiszapüspöki for processing Hungarian grown non-GMO corn. Products will include alcohol, corn syrup, cooking oil and animal feeds. The greenfield investment's cost is around HUF 45 bn (EUR 144 million) which includes a HUF 9,2 bn (EUR 29,5 million) state grant. There are already 320 people working at the nearby facility of Tisza-TK Projekt, but the cereal processing plant will create a further 230 jobs in the following months.
