Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The University fo Warwick is creating 170 new jobs in the Warwick Manufacturing Group. The new jobs will increase the headcount of the department by around one third. The specialist engineering centre is a department in the university which is known for its close links with local industries. The new jobs will support research which has been developed with a number of these companies. The new jobs on offer include research positions as well as management roles. It is not known when these new positions will be filled, though the recruitment process has been started.
